George brings over 31 years of experience in the audiovisual field. He got his start as a broadcast video technician trouble-shooting and repairing everything from JVC, Panasonic and Sony broadcast video cameras, 1/2in., 3/4in, Betacam, MII, and 1in tape format video recorders and players as well as digital tape formats. George has served as a senior studio engineer and technician maintaining the main broadcast studio, the public access studios and the EFP broadcast truck for a Warner Cable Co. of Pittsburgh. After Warner Cable, George’s experience took him to the University of Pittsburgh where he designed and built multimedia and distance education classrooms. George was the university’s lead installer and technician. From Pitt, George progressed to project manager and lead installer for the largest AV company in the United States. George left this company with Bill and Greg where he spearheaded the engineering for a newly developed AV group within a data/phone company. Synergy recognized George’s outstanding engineering skills and brought George onto the team in February of 2009.
George holds a degree in Electrical Engineering from Penn State University.
