Case Study

Physical Therapy Lab

The laboratory’s main video system was upgraded to HD infrastructure, enabling HD video signals to be transmitted to the six televisions. A new head-worn HD camera was installed for the instructor, improving visibility for students.

Additionally, a wireless lavalier microphone and amplifier were added to enhance audio quality, and the touch panel was reprogrammed to support the new equipment, all conveniently housed in the small rack within a credenza.

Classroom Updates

Newly installed surface-mounted speakers, mounted on either side of the projection screens, will deliver audio through the projector’s audio outputs.

The room features high-quality laser projectors displaying onto a pull-down screen with multiple inputs, all controlled by a user-friendly 7” touch panel on the wall for convenient source switching and volume adjustments.
The system ensures automatic laptop display and optimized audio levels with a single button press, supported by voice reinforcement through a podium microphone and a wireless lavalier microphone during presentations.

Anatomy Lab

The laboratory’s primary video system will be upgraded to high-definition, providing clearer signals to six televisions.

A new head-worn HD camera will replace the existing ceiling camera, offering students a clearer view of the instructor’s focus.
Additionally, new wireless audio equipment will address sound quality issues, with the touchpanel reprogrammed to integrate the upgraded gear, all neatly stored in the owner-provided rack within a credenza.

Genetics Lab

The modernization initiatives in the Genetics Laboratory have successfully transformed the learning environment, incorporating cutting-edge technology to elevate the teaching experience.

With the integration of advanced projection, audio, and video systems, coupled with an intuitive touch panel control center, the laboratory now stands as a model of efficient and engaging educational spaces. These enhancements meet the evolving needs of instruction and contribute to the goal of fostering a contemporary and technology-driven learning atmosphere for faculty and students.

Orthodontic Building

A Crestron Digital Media system was installed in the large training room, featuring new HDMI and VGA laptop connections near the podium, along with a gooseneck microphone and Biamp DSP for audio processing, housed in the existing rack.

Additionally, the small classroom received a new laptop connection, while the operation room was equipped with a Mouthwatch USB intraoral camera, enabling two-way communication with the large training room and small classroom.

Nursing School

The nursing school features cutting-edge facilities with a technologically advanced laboratory and classroom space, equipped with a comprehensive projection system for an optimal learning experience.

The integrated audio/video and presentation systems, along with a wall-mounted 70″ display in the classroom, create a dynamic environment that enhances engagement and facilitates advanced educational practices.

Cecilian Hall Auditorium

The new AV system includes a gooseneck microphone, a 7,200-lumen laser projector, and a Biamp Tesira audio processor for improved sound quality.

A podium-mounted touchpanel provides centralized control for adjusting volume, switching sources, and powering off devices, while an OFE iPad offers remote control capabilities for added convenience and reduced stress.
