ABOUT THIS PROJECT
The Alcoa Corporation wanted an innovation center where representatives can share information about the company, the campus and its unique manufacturing processes with small and large groups of visiting guests from a singular, technology-rich environment. BrightTree Studios was chosen to develop, design and install the AV Systems for the facility.
Synergy Media Group brought technology installation to the company’s events/cafeteria space by outfitting the facility with three ceiling-recessed electric projection screens, a 70” LED presenter screen, ten ceiling microphones, two wireless microphones, and 14 ceiling-mounted speakers.
Due to its nature, the space can accommodate a large crowd and is now equipped to handle larger events such as a State-of-the-Company address and other corporate-focused forums, as needed.
Another highlight of the design includes a twenty-foot long, 5 ½-foot tall interactive video wall, with which executives can pull up a map of Alcoa’s campus and “fly” through the buildings, as well as watch videos of manufacturing-at-work without leaving the comforts of the center. The video wall has 32 touch points allowing multiple users to interact and explore the custom content generated by the company.
Surround sound, proximity sensing, environmental controls, conferencing capabilities and tablet integration are also an important part of the project’s design.
