THE CHALLENGE

Ferris State University wanted the first purpose-built eSports Arena in Michigan to be at their university, making them the prime destination for the implementation of the eSports program and degree given the rapid growth of the industry.

THE PROCESS

Create the first of the State’s dedicated eSports arena, bursting with seamlessly integrated technology.

OUR DELIVERY

Through audiovisual, IT/telecom, and security design, an eSports arena for Cyber Competitions, which can be transformed into a classroom was installed.

PROJECT STATS

Various Camera Angles
• Cameras placed around the room and on the computer for a close-up of the student playing the game, enhancing the look of the stream.

Video Walls
• Above the stage, video walls showcase the player’s screen for spectators to view during tournaments and for the eSports coaches to assist in game tactics.

Separate Production Room & Shoutcaster Room
• Like traditional sports broadcasting, the production room and the announcers room is different than the facility people are playing in. We kept this consistent for eSports, ensuring a seamless-looking stream.
