West Virginia University needed a facility for the school of business that empowers students to become pioneers, guiding them to forge their own paths and make a meaningful impact on the world.

THE PROCESS

Create a transformational design for the new building, giving students in business education at WVU a leap forward into changing the world. 

OUR DELIVERY

Through audiovisual, IT/telecom, and security designs, we were able to install technology within a variety of spaces including: research centers, collaborative classrooms, a hospitality simulation laboratory, conference rooms, fitness center, and concessions.

Cyber Security Lab
• Gives students a chance to work and do research that impacts digital security.
Study Rooms
Wehrle Global Supply Chain Lab
• A digitally immersive experience for learning real-world implications for the future of a digitally enabled supply chain, through virtual reality simulations.
Roll Capitol Markets Center
• Students get to experience stock trading with Bloomberg Terminals and a stock ticker.
Hospitality Simulation Laboratory
Social Stairwell
• Reminiscent of Googleplex’s social stairs, the stairs are a hub for meetings, group projects, and individual study sessions.
Conference Spaces
Esbenshade Auditorium
• Accommodates large lectures of up to 300 students, using technology to maintain an interactive environment.
Hayhurst Ideation Hub
• Using technology to connect students with teamwork, workshops, and presentations.
Fitness Centers
Social Technology & Research Lab
• Students use technology to learn and create digital marketing strategies, content creation, and brand management.
