West Virginia University Reynolds Hall is a transformational leap toward the current trends and future of business education. The space offers a community of academics, recreation, dining, and collaboration among students in WVU’s graduate and undergraduate schools.
Navigating through Reynolds Hall reveals a multifaceted environment, featuring classrooms, collaboration spaces, retail outlets, and concession areas strategically positioned to meet the diverse needs of students. Welcoming students at the entrance is the social stairwell, reminiscent of Googleplex’s social stairs, offering a hub for meetings, group projects, and individual study sessions.
Just down the hall, the Esbenshade Auditorium features state-of-the-art technology tailored to accommodate large lectures of up to 300 students, ensuring an interactive and engaging learning environment.
Amidst this bustling environment, Reynolds Hall has various specialized labs geared towards providing students with hands-on experience in key areas of business curriculum. These labs are outfitted with cutting-edge technology, ensuring that students are well-equipped for the demands of the modern workforce.

As a vibrant hub of innovation and collaboration– the Hayhurst Ideation Hub serves as a nexus for student teamwork, workshops, and dynamic presentations, fostering creativity and problem-solving skills.

On the same floor is the Social Technology & Research Lab, dedicated to digital marketing strategies, content creation, and brand management. The Sheedy Experiential Learning Pavilion provides students with immersive experiences in a modern business environment and real-world corporate partnerships.

In addition to these innovative spaces, students can explore the Roll Capital Markets Center, where they gain hands-on experience in financial trading with Bloomberg terminals and a stock ticker. Through the technology in the space, students learn to examine real-time data to prepare them for the finance industry.

The Wehrle Global Supply Chain Lab offers an immersive digital environment for learning about the real-world implications of a future digitally enabled supply chain through virtual reality simulations. 

The Behavioral Economics and Situational Testing (BEAST) Computer Lab employs experimental methods to investigate behavioral questions in economics and related fields, with a focus on initiatives benefiting marginalized communities. Ongoing research delves into areas such as education mentoring, identity, currency stability, team dynamics, group cohesion, and the effects of propaganda, among others.
Dr. Randy and Karen Evans Cybersecurity Lab provides hands-on learning experiences in cybersecurity through real-world projects. Under the guidance of experienced faculty, students engage in research and service projects that impact digital security. The lab offers a cutting-edge and flexible workspace equipped with advanced cybersecurity software and tools, serving as a gateway to industry partnerships and preparing learners for cybersecurity careers.
